Three generations on the road

Wong Loong Cheong began in the 1950s as a single kedai runcit, opened by Mr. Wong Kooi. Incorporated in 1980 and now run by the next generations of the family, the company has grown into a dependable partner for some of the world's best-known FMCG brands — with a sales team and delivery fleet that move stock daily into mini markets, supermarkets, provision shops, pharmacies and mamak stalls across central Malaysia.

Our story

  1. 1950s Started out as a single kedai runcit, founded by Mr. Wong Kooi.
  2. 1980 Incorporated as Wong Loong Cheong Sdn Bhd.
  3. Mid-1990s Outgrew the shop and relocated to a mid-sized warehouse unit.
  4. 2005 Within ten years, built our own 3-acre HQ and warehouse in Klang.
  5. Soon after Acquired the Melaka and Tanjung Malim branches.
  6. Today More than 100 staff on payroll across 5 locations in Malaysia.
